The Parula Warbler is a small, colourful songbird that can be found in North and Central America. However, there are several synonyms for this species depending on the region or the language that they are referred to. In some parts of the United States, the Parula Warbler is known as either Blue Yellow-backed Warbler or Northern Parula Warbler. Meanwhile, in Mexico and Central America, they are called Parula Americana or Reinita Aliblanca in Spanish. No matter what you call them, Parula Warblers are known for their striking appearance, with blue-gray upper parts, yellow underparts, and white wing bars.
