An aero-gramme, also spelled aerogram or aerogramme, is a type of lightweight letter sheet that is designed for airmail delivery. While the term aero-gramme is still widely used, there are other synonyms that can be used to refer to this type of correspondence. These include air letter, airmail letter, airgraph, air postage, and even V-mail (a term used during World War II for airmail letters sent to servicemen overseas). Regardless of the name used, aerograms remain a convenient and cost-effective way to send mail, particularly for individuals or organizations with international correspondents.
