Arctocebus Calabarensis, commonly known as the Calabar angwantibo, is a species of primate found in Nigeria. The name "Angwantibo" itself refers to a small primate that resembles a lemur. There are several synonyms for Arctocebus Calabarensis, including the Calabar Potto, which refers to its behavior of moving slowly and clinging to tree branches. Additionally, it is sometimes referred to as the Calabar Dwarf Galago, due to its small size and similarities to the galago family of primates. The scientific genus name, Arctocebus, means "bear monkey" and is derived from the animal's bear-like appearance and arboreal lifestyle.
