Boskop Man is a term used to describe a type of ancient human believed to have lived in South Africa around 10,000 to 100,000 years ago. The Boskop Man is also known as the Boskopoid, Boskop Skull, or Boskopian. Other synonyms for this term include the African Giant, Homo capensis, and Homo diluvii testis. This human species was known for their unique physical characteristics, including a large skull with a brain volume much larger than modern humans. Despite being labeled as a distinct species by some researchers, there is still much debate and controversy surrounding the classification of Boskop Man in the larger context of human evolution.
