Camfak syndrome, also known as cerebro-facro-articular syndrome or CFAS, is a rare genetic disorder that affects the development of the brain, face, and limbs. The syndrome is characterized by a variety of symptoms, including delayed development, intellectual disability, facial abnormalities, and joint problems. While the term "camfak syndrome" is the most commonly used, there are other synonyms for the disorder, including cerebro-facio-articular syndrome, cerebro-facial-articular syndrome, and Pena-Shokeir syndrome type 2. Although there is currently no cure for the disorder, early intervention and treatments can help manage the various symptoms and disabilities that come with Camfak syndrome.
