Central Dravidian refers to a group of Dravidian languages that are primarily spoken in the central region of the Indian subcontinent. Some synonyms for Central Dravidian include Central South Dravidian and Madhya Dravidian. This language family includes Telugu, the second most spoken language in India, as well as Kannada, a language primarily spoken in the southern Indian state of Karnataka. Other languages in this family include Gondi, Kolami, Konda, and Parji.
