Chronic Fatigue Immune Dysfunction Syndrome (CFIDS) is a debilitating condition that affects millions of people worldwide. However, it is also known by other names, such as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME), Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), Systemic Exertion Intolerance Disease (SEID), and Post-Viral Fatigue Syndrome (PVFS). Each of these names reflects different aspects of the illness, but all of them describe the same underlying condition. The symptoms of CFIDS can vary widely from person to person, but typically include fatigue, brain fog, joint pain, and other related symptoms. Although there is no cure for CFIDS, treatment options are available to help manage the symptoms and improve quality of life.
