The cinnamon-rumped foliage-gleaner is a bird species found in South America. It is also known by a number of synonymous names such as the cinnamon-rumped spinetail, cinnamon-rumped thornbird or simply the cinnamon-rumped bird. These names are used interchangeably to refer to the bird that is known for a rufous, reddish-brown rump and a long, pointed bill. The cinnamon-rumped foliage-gleaner rotates its elongated beak in search of insects in the humid forests of Brazil, Peru and Bolivia.
