The Cruyff turn is a classic soccer move named after Dutch legend Johan Cruyff, where the player deceives their opponent by pushing the ball with one foot and, instead of kicking it, returns it behind their opponent with the other foot. Although the term is named after one of the greatest players in history, there are other synonyms used around the world to describe this move. In Spain, it is known as "la Pelopina," whereas in Italy, it is called "il finto" or "the fake." Brazilians call it "O Sossego" or "the calmness," while in Argentina, it is known as the "Sombrerito" or "the little hat." Regardless of what it is called, the Cruyff turn remains a timeless classic of modern soccer.
