Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) is a term frequently used in computer science and mathematics that describes a specific type of data structure in a graph. DAGs are commonly used in tasks such as scheduling, programming languages, and data processing. While the term "DAG" is widely recognized and utilized in these fields, there are several synonyms that describe this type of graph, including directed acyclic network (DAN), directed acyclic forest, directed cyclic acyclic graph (DCAG), and topological ordering.
