Ebola virus is a highly infectious, deadly virus that causes severe hemorrhagic fever in humans and other primates. This virus is originally from the African rainforest, and it can spread through contact with infected bodily fluids or contaminated objects. Other synonyms for Ebola virus include Ebola virus infection, Ebola virus outbreak, and Ebola virus epidemic. Early symptoms of this virus include fever, headache, muscle pain, and weakness, but it can quickly progress to severe bleeding, shock, and organ failure. There is currently no known cure for the Ebola virus, but early detection and treatment can increase the chances of survival.
