The electrostatic force is a fundamental force of nature that exists between electrically charged particles. It is also known as Coulomb force, electrostatic interaction, or simply static electricity. There are several synonyms to describe this natural phenomenon. Some of the commonly used ones include electric force, electromagnetic force, electric charge force, and electric field force. In addition, some people may use terms such as electrical attraction, electrical repulsion, or electric push & pull to describe the behavior of charged particles. Regardless of the terminology used, the electrostatic force plays a critical role in the behavior of atoms, molecules, and macroscopic objects in our daily lives.
