Enteropathy-associated T-cell lymphoma (EATL) is a rare type of cancer that affects the immune system. Some other synonyms for EATL include Intestinal T-cell lymphoma, EAI lymphoma, and Gluten sensitive enteropathy associated T-cell lymphoma. This type of cancer develops in the intestines, and it is often associated with celiac disease, an autoimmune disorder triggered by the consumption of gluten. Symptoms of EATL include abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, and weight loss. If left untreated, it can spread to other parts of the body and become fatal. Early diagnosis and treatment can improve the chances of recovery. Treatments for EATL include chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and stem cell transplantation.
