Rendition is often used in cases where a suspect is transferred to another country for interrogation or detention. Deportation refers to an individual being expelled from a country by the authorities. Handover involves transferring an individual to another jurisdiction, usually a foreign country. Repatriation is often used to describe the return of a citizen to their country of origin. Surrender refers to the act of voluntarily turning oneself in to a jurisdiction where they are wanted.
