Flicker Fusion, also known as temporal resolution, refers to the rate at which a light source appears to flicker and still appear continuous to the human eye. Some antonyms, or opposites, to Flicker Fusion include Strobe Effect, Pulsating Light, and Intermittent Flash, which all refer to light sources that appear to be flickering at a rapid and noticeable pace, breaking the continuity of the light. Other antonyms could include Steady Light, Constant Glow, and Unbroken Illumination, which refer to light sources that do not exhibit any flickering, pulsation or strobe-like behaviour, but instead provide a continuous and stable source of light.
