Fraxinus Oregona is a species of tree commonly known as Oregon ash. Its botanical name is derived from the Latin word "fraxinus" which means "ash tree". Oregon ash is predominantly found in the western part of North America. This deciduous tree grows up to 80 feet tall and has a gray-brown bark with diamond-shaped ridges.
