Gastrophryne Olivacea is a species of toad native to North America. This toad is commonly referred to by a number of different names including olive bellied narrow mouthed toad, olive dwarf toad, and Gulf coast narrow mouthed toad. These various synonyms for the scientific name all reflect key aspects of the toad's physical characteristics, including its small size, olive colored underbelly, and narrow mouth. Despite their different common names, all of these synonyms refer to the same species, which is typically found in habitats throughout the southern United States and Mexico.
