Genus Krigia, a group of plants belonging to the family Asteraceae, thrives in North America. These plants produce yellow or white flowers that bloom during the summer. Members of this genus are commonly known as dwarfdandelions, false dandelions, and dwarf dandelion hawksbeards due to their similarities to dandelion plants. However, many people have also referred to them by synonyms such as "lollipop flower" and "Creeping Jennie." Some species of the Genus Krigia also have medicinal properties that have been used in traditional Native American medicine. Regardless of what they are called, the plants within the Genus Krigia are stunning additions to any garden or outdoor space.
