Hawaii Standard Time, also known as HST, is the time zone used in the state of Hawaii. However, there are other terms used to refer to the same standard time in Hawaii. These synonyms include Hawaii-Aleutian Standard Time (HAST), which is also used in some parts of Alaska, and Hawaiian Time. Hawaiian Time is more of a colloquial term used to refer to the relaxed and laid-back lifestyle in Hawaii, but it still refers to the same standard time. HST is also sometimes referred to as Pacific/Honolulu time since Hawaii is the only US state located in the Pacific time zone. Regardless of the term used, HST remains constant throughout the year and does not observe daylight saving time.
