Hubble-bubbles, also known as hookahs or shishas, have been enjoyed by people for centuries. However, they are called by different names in different parts of the world. In Turkey, they are known as nargile, while in Egypt they are called sheesha. In India, they are referred to as chillum or huqqa, while in Iran they go by the name of ghalyan. The French call them narguile and the Germans, wasserpfeife. Hubble-bubbles are used for smoking flavoured tobacco, which is heated by a small charcoal ember placed on top of the bowl. Though the name may vary, the pleasure of sharing a hubble-bubble with friends and family remains the same across the world.
