Hulsea Nana is a small, herbaceous plant native to western North America. It is also known by several synonyms, including Hulsea Algida, Hulsea Connata, and Hulsea Nana Var. Grizzlyensis. This plant is commonly found in alpine and subalpine meadows and can grow to a height of 10-20 cm. Its flowers are bright yellow and bloom in late summer. The Hulsea Nana has a deep taproot and can tolerate dry and rocky soil conditions, making it an ideal plant for rock gardens and other areas with poor soil.
