The Iranian Dinar is the official currency of Iran, however, it goes by a few other names. One synonym for the Iranian Dinar is the Iranian Rial (IRR), which is the more commonly used name. Additionally, the Dinar is also referred to as the Tomān, which is a unit of currency equal to ten Rials. This term is primarily used by Iranians in their daily transactional activities. While there are other currencies that are used in Iran, such as the US Dollar and Euro, the Iranian Dinar is still considered the main currency and is widely accepted throughout the country.
