Liebigite is a rare mineral that is mainly found in hydrothermal veins. It is a complex hydrated copper uranium sulfate mineral that has a greenish or yellowish-white color. Despite its rarity, there are a few synonyms for the word liebigite. These include uranocuprite, copper uranite, and copper uranium oxide.
Uranocuprite is also a copper mineral that occurs in the oxidation zones of copper deposits. Copper uranite, on the other hand, is a secondary copper mineral that forms in the oxidized zones of uranium deposits.
