Lorenzo the Magnificent, also known as Lorenzo de' Medici, was a prominent figure of the 15th century Italian Renaissance. He was a statesman, patron of the arts and a leading member of the prominent Medici family of Florence. Lorenzo was known for his political savvy, diplomatic skills, and artistic patronage.
