Lychnis coronaria is commonly known as rose campion due to its bright pink blooms. However, there are other synonyms for this beautiful flowering plant. It is also called dusty miller due to the silver-grey foliage that accompanies the blooms. Some refer to it as mullein-pink or royal catchfly. In Italy, it goes by the name of virgulti. Whatever you choose to call it, it is a stunning addition to any garden. With its tall spires of pink flowers and silvery leaves, it can add height and interest to border plantings or be used as a focal point in a cottage garden.
