Other synonyms for microphobia include Nanophobia, which is the fear of nanotechnology; Omphalophobia, which is the fear of belly buttons or small holes; and Pediophobia, which is the fear of dolls or small figures. Regardless of the specific phobia, those affected by microphobia experience excessive and often debilitating anxiety when encountering small things.
