Myeloid Leukemia Acute M, also known as Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML), is a type of cancer that starts in the bone marrow and affects white blood cells. Its antonyms would be words that represent the opposite of the disease, such as healthy, normal, benign, and non-cancerous. A person with AML may experience symptoms such as fatigue, fever, and easy bruising, but with proper treatment and care, they can overcome the disease. By prescribing chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and bone marrow transplants, doctors hope to cure the condition and return the individual to a healthy state. While AML is a serious disease, there are ways to fight against it and come out victorious.
