Nachman of Breslov (1772-1810) was a renowned Hasidic master and founder of the Breslov Hasidic dynasty. Nachman of Breslov is also known by various synonyms, including Reb Nachman, Rebbe Nachman of Breslov, and Nachman ben Feiga. He was born in the Ukrainian town of Medzhybizh, but spent much of his life traveling and teaching throughout Eastern Europe. Nachman of Breslov is known for his profound teachings on spirituality, prayer, and personal growth, which continue to inspire and influence millions of Jews around the world. His legacy is celebrated each year with the annual Rosh Hashanah pilgrimage to his grave in Uman, Ukraine.
