Non-discriminatory is a term frequently used to indicate impartiality, equality, and fairness. However, there are a few antonyms for this term, which include discriminatory, prejudicial, biased, partial, unfair, and inequitable. Discriminatory actions or policies are ones that show a preference for or against a particular individual or group based on their race, gender, age, religion, or other characteristics. Prejudicial denotes a preconceived bias or opinion that one holds without actual knowledge or experience. Biased means having a particular inclination, preference or prejudice towards something or someone. Partial describes a favoritism or a preference for one person or group over another. Therefore, non-discriminatory should always be an objective in any policy or action.
