Oneness Pentecostalism is a religious movement that emerged in the early 20th century. It is also known by several other names, including Jesus' Name Pentecostalism, Apostolic Pentecostalism, and United Pentecostal Church. Followers of this faith believe that there is only one God, and that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are different manifestations of that same God. Oneness Pentecostalism places emphasis on baptism in the name of Jesus Christ alone, and on the belief in the "gift of tongues" or speaking in other languages as a sign of being filled with the Holy Spirit. Despite having various names, it is important to note that this faith is still considered a sect of Pentecostal Christianity.
