An opinionated person is someone who is often considered to be domineering when it comes to expressing their thoughts and beliefs. Synonyms for the term include; stubborn, pigheaded, dogmatic, inflexible, intransigent, unbending, adamant, unyielding, rigid, and uncompromising. All of these words point to a personality characteristic that is highly independent in its thinking and does not easily concede to the views of others. Critically, opinionated persons often come across as overbearing or even arrogant in their sense of reasoning. However, it should be noted that it is not always a bad thing since opinions are what define us as individuals, and we should be able to share them confidently without fearing the views of others.
