Otho I, also known as Otto I, was a medieval German king who ruled from 936 to 973. He was the son of Henry the Fowler and succeeded his father as the ruler of the East Frankish Kingdom. Throughout his reign, Otto I was known for his military campaigns against the Magyars and the Slavs, which led to the conquest of territories in Eastern Europe.
