Paul the Apostle is known as one of the most important figures in early Christianity and the author of many of the New Testament books. He is also called Saint Paul or the Apostle Paul. However, there are many other synonyms for this famous biblical figure, including Saul of Tarsus, the Apostle to the Gentiles, and the Apostle of the Nations. Additionally, he is sometimes referred to simply as Paul, the name he adopted after his conversion to Christianity. Regardless of the name used, Paul's influence on the development of Christianity cannot be overstated and his writings continue to be studied and revered today.
