Polysexual refers to someone who is attracted to multiple genders and/or gender expressions. There are several synonyms for the term, including omnisexual, pansexual, and multisexual. Omnisexual also refers to someone who is attracted to all genders, but can sometimes be used to describe a person who is attracted to people regardless of their gender identity. Pansexual encompasses attraction to all genders and gender expressions, including those outside of the traditional male/female binary. Multisexual is a less commonly used term but still refers to attraction to multiple genders. Regardless of what term a person uses, it is important to remember to respect and validate everyone's unique sexual orientation and identity.
