Question period, also known as question time, is a segment during parliamentary meetings where elected officials can ask questions of each other or government leaders. However, there are many synonyms to describe this time period. It may be referred to as "oral question," "question hour," or "question and answer session." Other similar terms include "interpellation," "debate," or simply "Q&A." In some countries, it's called a "question time session," "question and answer period," "inquiry," or "query time." Nonetheless, regardless of the name used for this time in Parliament, the essence of it remains the same- to provide an opportunity to ask and answer questions and engage in political discourse.
