The right triangular ligament is a fibrous band of tissue that connects the liver to the diaphragm on the right side of the body. It is also known as the right coronary ligament or the right triangular ligament of the liver. The ligament is an important structure that helps to anchor the liver in place and provide support to the surrounding organs. In medical terminology, the ligament is also referred to as the ligamentum triangulare dextrum. The term 'hepatic triangle' is also sometimes used to describe the area where the right triangular ligament attaches to the liver.
