Subdural effusion, also known as subdural hematoma, is a medical condition that refers to the accumulation of blood or other fluids in the space between the brain and the skull. There are a number of different terms that can be used to describe this condition, including subdural hemorrhage, subdural hematoma, and cerebral hematoma. Other synonyms may include intracranial hemorrhage, brain bleed, and intracranial hematoma.
