The Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis is a stunning natural phenomenon that illuminates the night sky with an array of colors. However, there are several other synonyms for this phenomenon that can be used interchangeably. Some of these include Polar Lights, Aurora Polaris, and Arctic Lights. Additionally, some indigenous cultures refer to the Aurora as "Dancing Spirits" or "Sky Spirits". The Finnish call it "Revontulet" which translates to "Fox Fires", while the Sami people refer to it as "Guovssahas" which means "The Light that Can Be Heard". Regardless of the name, the Northern Lights remain one of the most breathtaking experiences nature has to offer.
