Underground fighters, also called guerrilla fighters, insurgents, or rebels, are individuals or groups who operate clandestinely against a dominant power or government. These fighters often use unconventional tactics and weapons to carry out their objectives, and are usually motivated by political, social, or economic grievances. Some other synonyms for underground fighters include freedom fighters, resistance fighters, partisans, militants, dissidents, revolutionaries, and saboteurs. Regardless of the term used, these individuals or groups often face great risk and danger in fighting against established power structures, and are seen as both heroes and terrorists depending on who you ask.
