A skeleton model refers to the basic structural framework of a 3D object. A skeletal mesh is a 3D object that consists mainly of polygons. Whereas a low poly model is a digital model that has been created using low polygonal count. Regardless of the term used, wire frame remains an essential component of graphic designing.
