Zeta Leonis, also known as Adhafera, is one of the brighter stars in the constellation Leo. Though commonly referred to by its scientific name, there are several synonyms for Zeta Leonis. Some of them include Adhafera, Adhara, and Al Adhara. The name Adhafera is derived from Arabic and translates to "the curl of the lion's mane", while Adhara means "the virgin's pure". Al Adhara also means "the virgins", but is used to refer to a cluster of stars rather than a single star. Regardless of its name, Zeta Leonis remains a stunning celestial body that has captivated astronomers and stargazers for centuries.
