Anoa Mindorensis, also known as the Mindoro dwarf buffalo, is a rare and endangered species of buffalo found only on the island of Mindoro, Philippines. In scientific terms, it is classified under the family Bovidae and the genus Bubalus. Some synonyms used to describe this animal include Bubalus Mindorensis, Mindoro buffalo, and pygmy buffalo. Its physical appearance is similar to other members of the buffalo family, but it is much smaller in size. Due to its limited range and habitat destruction, the Anoa Mindorensis is considered to be critically endangered and is protected by law. Efforts are underway to preserve this majestic creature and prevent it from going extinct.
