Bodhi, a Sanskrit term, is usually used in Buddhism to refer to the state of awakening or enlightenment. As such, there do not appear to be any natural antonyms for this word. However, for the sake of argument, we can consider some opposing concepts or terms, such as ignorance, delusion, and confusion. These can all be considered as opposite to bodhi in the sense that they represent states of being which are characterized by unenlightened behavior, a lack of clarity, and a lack of understanding of the true nature of reality. Ultimately, these opposing concepts are completely different from bodhi and do not fully encompass its essence.
