Bohrium is a chemical element with the symbol Bh and atomic number 107. It is a synthetic element and has a very short half-life. There are not many synonyms for the word "bohrium" but it is sometimes referred to as unnilseptium, as it is the seventh element in the unnilseptium series. Additionally, it can be categorized as a transactinide element due to its position in the periodic table, which includes other elements such as hassium, meitnerium, darmstadtium, and roentgenium. The discovery and naming of bohrium were in honor of Danish physicist Niels Bohr, who made important contributions to the understanding of atomic structure and quantum mechanics.
