Devil ray, also known as a mobula or manta ray, is a popular marine creature. Devil rays are mostly found in tropical and warm temperate waters. They are characterized by their flat, disc-shaped bodies and typically grow up to 5.2 meters in length. Devil rays are known for their acrobatic jumps out of the water, which have made them a favorite of surfers and ocean enthusiasts. Even though "devil ray" is the most commonly used name for this beautiful creature, there are other synonyms that are used as well. These include eagle ray, stingray, sea devil, and giant devilfish.
