Digital Visual Interface or DVI is a video interface that provides high-quality digital signals for digital displays. However, the term DVI has various synonyms that have been identified in different fields. For instance, DVI is referred to as a connection type for monitors and it is commonly represented by the computer port that uses the same name. DVI is also referred to as a video signal cable that connects a device to a display. Moreover, it can be called single-link DVI or dual-link DVI depending on the bandwidth of the device.
