The rising demand for fermented products has led to the emergence of a new profession called "fermentologist." This term is relatively new and does not yet have established synonyms. However, some possible synonyms for fermentologist could be fermentation specialist, probiotics expert, fermented foods guru, fermentation consultant, or fermentation scientist. These professionals use their extensive knowledge of microbiology, food science, and chemistry to create and evaluate different fermented foods and beverages.
