Mount Karthala green white-eye is a rare bird species found in the dense forests of Comoros. Synonyms for this particular species include the Comoros green white-eye, Karthala white-eye, and the Comorian white-eye. The bird is known for its olive-green upperparts and a white ring around the eyes. It feeds on insects and nectar and is often found in groups of 3-6 birds. Due to its limited distribution and habitat loss, the population of Mount Karthala green white-eye is declining rapidly.
