The Neem tree, also known as Margosa tree, is a well-known flowering tree that belongs to the mahogany family. It's native to the Indian subcontinent, and its scientific name is Azadirachta indica. In Sanskrit, it is also referred to as "nimba" or "arista". Locally, it is referred to as the "Vepa" tree in Telugu, "Veppilai" in Tamil, "Kadu Limba" in Marathi, and "Nimbay" in Hindi. The tree is prized for its medicinal properties and is used in the preparation of Ayurvedic medicines.
