Nunchakus, also known as nunchucks, are a traditional martial arts weapon consisting of two hardwood sticks connected by a chain or rope. While nunchakus is the widely accepted term, there are several other synonyms for this weapon. In some countries, they are called "nunchaku," "nunchacs," or "nunchuckas." Some people also refer to them as "karate sticks," "chainsticks," or "adimurai." In the Philippines, they are known as "tabak-toyok."
